Fun Lunches happen every Friday, rotating between Pizza, Hot Dogs, and vendor options ordered through Healthy Hunger.
To order Pizza and/or Hot Dog lunches, please use the forms linked below — this is a separate process and payment from the Healthy Hunger website.
What’s Healthy Hunger?
Healthy Hunger is a company that helps schools coordinate lunch orders with local vendors. While the name might sound like we only offer kale and quinoa, don’t worry, that’s just their brand name. The actual food choices depend on what’s available here in Airdrie and the size of our school.
We do our best to pick vendors the kids will love!
🚨 Important Deadline 🚨
If you’re ordering through Healthy Hunger, please note that orders must be placed by the Sunday before the Friday lunch. This also includes cancellations for that week.
No exceptions — this deadline is set by the company and can not be changed on our end.
Pizza Lunch Information:
Pricing is as follows:
- 1 Slice Combo (1 slice of pizza, 1 bag of chips and 1 drink) = $7
- 2 Slice Combo (2 slices of pizza, 1 bag of chips and 1 drink) = $9
Hot Dog Lunch Information:
Hot Dogs are all beef.
- Combo 1 (1 Hot Dog, 1 bag of chips and 1 drink) = $7
- Combo 2 (2 Hot Dogs, 1 bag of chips and 1 drink) = $9

Once the Pizza & Hot Dog Lunch Order Form is filled out, you must send an e-transfer with the name(s) of the student to:

***E-Transfer is the only form of payment accepted and must be received the Monday prior to the dates listed***
Pizza & Hot Dog Lunch FAQs
1. What happens if my child is sick on a pizza or Hot dog day that I've paid for?
If your child is sick and we know before Tuesday of that week please email parentcouncil@atlaslearningacademy.com so we can cancel and note for a refund at the end of the year.
If your child is sick the day of, please arrange a time with the School office for the pizza to be picked up or donated to a teacher/student of the school that day.
Note that Parent Council are parent volunteers, we are not in the school nor do we know your child's attendance.
2. When is Order cut off and what happens if it's missed?
The order cut off for Pizza & Hot Dog Lunches is the Monday prior of the Thursday date.
If you have not ordered before then, please send a lunch for your child that week.
3. How do we pay for Pizza and Hot Dog Lunch?
Payment is e-transfer to ParentCouncil@AtlasLearningAcademy.com
We have auto-deposit so no password is required.
4. Are there Refunds and when are they sent?
Refunds are compiled and moved forward to the next round of ordering.
Please note this is done once a year as we lose out on fees each time e-transfers are sent out.
5. What happens if there is a school closure for a pizza/hot dog day?
If the school is closed due to weather or online learning; the day will be carried forward to next round of ordering and the option of a refund will be presented at the end of the year (see above).
Healthy Hunger FAQs
Most of the answers are from Healthy Hunger directly, this is a third party service to Atlas Learning Academy and the name of the company.
1. What happens if my child is sick on a healthy hunger day that I've paid for?
Please arrange a time with the School office to pick up your order or donate to someone at the school.
2. What is the Cut Off Date for ordering Healthy Hunger?
The Cut Off date for Healthy Hunger is Sunday prior to the Healthy Hunger planned day. NO EXCEPTIONS.
3. What happens if I want to cancel before the cut off day?
Head over to HealthyHunger.ca, sign in and cancel the order.
You can request refunds up to 5 days prior to the day of the order, which would then be by Sunday evenings.
4. When are Refunds Processed?
Refunds are through Healthy Hunger only and can take a few days to appear. We do not and cannot control these refunds.
5. Where can I find the Cancellation Policy for Healthy Hunger?
The Cancellation and Refund Policy with Healthy Hunger can be found on their website.
6. What happens if there is a school or class closure for a Healthy Hunger day?
If the school is closed: We will do everything we can to arrange a refund.
Healthy Hunger is a third party company we use. We rely on the restaurant to cancel as well, which results in Healthy Hunger incurring extra fees.
Please do not contact us for the refunds as we are not able to process them for you.
